Capabilities: What I do
I am a user-centered designer. Since I first began in Software at Easel Corporation in 1990, I've been a proponent of a user-centered design approach. My undergraduate education is in Psychology, where I learned research, and my graduate degree is in Visual Communication/ Interactive Design (MFA), where I learned design. My MFA Thesis on Movement and how it can be used effectively to communicate meaning was condensed and presented at CHI 97'.
My professional career has included Claris (division of Apple), NetObjects, Intuit, and small start-ups, including my own, ibizu. To get the whole scoop, take a look at my Resume.

User-Centered Iterative Design Process
I've been a fan of a user-centered process since graduate school. The simplified approach below has been applied to many different projects, each with different deadlines, budgets and clients. With each project, the process may look different on the surface, but this underlying methodology has been consistent.
