Ibizu began as a community site, originally focusing on online book clubs. It became a new model for flash-based online gathering. Ibizu allowed people to come together on the web to meet and socialize through a fun and easy to use interface.

We began by research book clubs both in person and online. We attended meetings at homes & book stores, interviewed participants, participated in online book club meetings, and met with a professional moderator.
